After 38 years, the physical education teacher at the Collège Paul-Fort in Is-sur-Tille, France, retired on Friday, December 16th.
At the time of his departure, more than 700 students formed a hedge of honor to show their appreciation for the beloved teacher.
It was an unexpected moment that was full of emotion for Alain Donnat.
“I saw the looks of children crying, I had to cry too,” Donnat said.
